As soon as MS released DX 9 RC0, ATI released CATALYST™ DX9 BRC0 drivers for its RADEON™ 9700 PRO, RADEON™ 9500 PRO, RADEON™ 9700 and RADEON™ 9500 graphics chips. So if you have a card featuring one of these chipsets, you may want to give it a try. ATI also offers R300 technology demos featuring DirectX 9 in the download page. By the way, keep in mind that both DirectX 9 and CATALYST™ DX9 drivers are Release Candidates. So use them at your own risk.
